Help for Providing fodder for Qaraviz deer
In line with its social responsibilities, Tour in Persia has supported the project “Providing fodder for Qaraviz deer” by the NazreTabiat Association.
Qaraviz plain, as a no-hunting area with an area of 3800 hectares, is located between the cities of Sarpol-e Zahab and Qasr Shirin in Kermanshah province, which is the largest habitat of Iranian deer in the west of the country.
Unfortunately, in June and July of 2009, a large part of the pastures of this habitat caught fire due to several large fires and now, due to the extreme heat and drying of plants, deer are forced to go to the outskirts of villages and roads to feed, which increases the risks, including poaching and road accidents for them.
According to the proposal and the approval of the faculty of NazreTabiat, it was decided to send about four tons of pressed hay fodder to the region for a limited period of time until it starts to rain, so that it can be distributed by safeguards in safe places.
